My phone stopped working after 2 months.

my phone stopped working. I took it to the store where I got it about 2 months ago. they said it looked like it was dropped and I should take it to a repair shop. The repair shop said it looks like the problem is inside. What do I do?

Get it repaired or get a new phone.  Dropping a phone (resulting in physical damage) voids the warranty.  Even dropping the phone can cause damage on the inside

If your phone is under warranty, I would suggest you contact the manufacturer to check. It could be a fault from the manufacturer.

Everyone drops phones,I don't think phone can be stopped easily by dropping... Unless you physically break the limit of phones, which requires substantial forces.

It looks like it was drooped? I don't find this a good reason enough in order to prove a point. Unless the screen is shattered they should send it for warranty repair!

Well if the phone has a big dent in the side of it id say that's good enough to deny warranty repair. It's hard to say without actually seeing the phone though.

Could you create a new thread and go into some details? Is it just a black screen, what have you tried to do to fix, etc.
If you look at it from the right angle with the lighting just right it appears to have cracks in the face, although you feel any. Next question is can i use my husbands tab to get a new phone?

If you need to upgrade your phone, you need to pay off your current Tab.
Your husband can buy a phone for you. (Tab fee will be added to his line)

I don't know what phone you have now, but I would go with Azure's suggestion first -contact the manufacturer to check if they can do anything for you.  And check repair shop for the cost to fix it. Also, check Koodo shop one more time if they can send it under the warranty repair...  if not, how much to fix it.
If repair cost is too much for your current phone, then buy a new phone.

If you buy a high-end phone, you can consider to get extend warranty too.
