My phone is junk

My Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo is junk, i've had it only 2 months, you guys won't exchange it for a new one. Now the charger doesn't work, the battery life is awful, and I am in the midst of searching for work. I need help now as this is severely frustrating and inconvenient when I may have potential contact via telephone for job interviews. The nearest Koodo mobile is a 40 minute drive from me and I cannot call because of my crappy phone! HELP.

At this point, all Koodo can do is help you with a warranty return to the manufacturer. By returning it through your nearest Koodo booth, you may be able to get a loaner phone for the duration of the warranty repair, if there are some available.

Hi Christy,

You can try doing a factory reset on the phone first. It will completely erase the contents of the phone but might resolve the issues you are having. You can also bring it in to a Koodo shop to send it off for warranty work. I used the S5 Neo for a while and it was a nice phone for the price it was and didn't have any issues with it.
Pretty sure i'm screwed! This will be the last time i get a phone through Koodo and i'll go elsewhere after i pay this off. I have called on my old Samsung and they've offered me the exact same phone which i clearly am not happy with while my phone gets fixed, or a charger which is going to break again as it's quite flimsy compared to the Samsung Galaxy. Lose lose for me! I'll just deal with a piece of crap for 2 years....awwwwesome. LOL

All carriers have the same return window. After that it becomes the manufacturer's responsibility to repair or replace the device. Just because you have had problems with one specific phone does not mean every one of that model has the same issues.

It sounds like you're very much a fan of this particular phone lol. That's fine, but this is a comments section where I am allowed to comment for the general public to know what risks they may or may not have when purchasing this phone. You can agree or disagree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, I read reviews before making a purchase and do like to know the pros and cons. I don't really think this is a place where you need to argue with me about my particular experience.

Regardless of what time frame other carriers have for returning a phone; I think Koodo should take responsibility for selling a loyal customer a faulty phone, within a reasonable span of time (i.e. 3 months for something that's around $400+ CAD isn't really asking too much). The standard shouldn't be to meet the same standards of other carriers, it should be to go above and beyond for the customer. I'd say that goes for any business, not only Koodo. If you sell a customer a faulty phone, your nearest location is approximately a 40 minute drive away, and they've had the device for only 2 months and have had no ends of problems; I'd say that's a reasonable amount of time for me to exchange the phone for another. Not make the customer send it out in the mail and lend them the same phone they already are unhappy with.

I'm not asking for much, and Koodo gets to keep my business and money. Now because Koodo is refusing to do that, and I will be forced to buy flimsy chargers that will break consistently (on my 24 month tab that means i'm going to have to purchase quite a few chargers if they break after 2 months), they've lost business. Probably more than what would equate to just giving me a different phone of equal value.

Thanks for your opinion.
