My Phone Is Dead.

Ok. I don't know if anything can be done besides exchange the phone for a new one, because it decided to die... not from lack of power... but from some mechanism that was knocked loose that isn't letting the phone work after I dropped it. I missed my dresser tonight, but usually the drop doesn't do any damage to the phone. Now it has, and I'm not sure what to do.

Since it happened from a drop it may not be covered as it could be considered physical damage, however if its within the 1 year warranty it may be covered if its found to be a manufacturers defect. The only thing to do is to bring it to a koodo kiosk and have them send it away to be looked at and repaired, theyll be able to give you the full details at your local kiosk. Just to check first though is if it has a removable battery make sure the battery hasnt become loose from the drop, just something to check first.

[i]" [...] I missed my dresser tonight, but usually the drop doesn't do any damage to the phone. Now it has [...] " Hold on a minute Victoria... Am I getting this right? Are you implying that you "usually" drop the phone? Now, I'm not here to judge, but if you are effectively throwing the phone around all the time like it's nothing, it could very well explain why it quit working. These devices are [i]not meant to be thrown around, they're not bouncing rubber balls... Now please, tell me I'm wrong and that you're not treating the phone like that! If nothing good comes out of it, you'll have to buy a new phone either using the Tab or by buying it out of pocket. And taking better care of it should help prolong its life too. Please Victoria, please tell me I'm getting this all wrong...

I don't "usually" drop my phone, it's just that it's happened a few times before I fixed the problem... It was vibrating when my alarm went off in the morning, which sometimes made it drop off my dresser.

You could send it away for repair, but if it's found to have physical damage, you'll be sent a quote of how much the repair will cost. This is your only option besides buying a new phone.
