Are you talking about the APN? You can find it in this link http://mobilemasters.koodomobile.com/the-comprehensive-guide-for-bringing-your-unlocked-device-to-koodo/ Is your phone compatible with HSPA 850/1900?

The third line is the most important one here. Just because the phone is unlocked doesn't mean it will work with all carriers. Phone's antennas only support certain frequencies, and different carriers use different frequencies. It's also possible that even if you phone is compatible with them in 3G mode it is not compatible with them on LTE. The APN settings are required for you to put in to access data but I believe your phone should work with calling and texting even if you don't have the APN settings in. This could show that your phone (as the person at Telus was trying to say it seems) is not compatible with Koodo. www.gsmarena.com is a good site to check what frequencies your phone is compatible with. What is the exact model number of your S5?

You are right, Jorden, the APN is only required for data connectivity. To check if the phone is compatible you can click here.

Keep in mind that tool isn't horribly accurate, saying phones like the Nexus 5 won't work but it never hurts to try it.
