Try plugging the phone in and see if the update continues.

If your phone froze while in the middle of an update, 1. Restart your phone by holding volume down and power button together 2. When it starts to load push together volume up + volume down + power button - this will run bootloader 3. In bootloader using volume up and volume down buttons pick Recovery mode and push power button 4. After it loaded in recovery mode push power + volume up button 5. Pick wipe data/factory reset IT WILL REMOVE ALL DATA (photos, videos, whatever) on your phone Hope this helps:)

It will erase all data but I think its worth it to save your phone:)

But only do this after you have tried every other option you can possibly think of.

Often when an update fails, the old software remains untouched. If the phone is unresponsive, hold the power button in for seven seconds. This will turn the device off completely. After powering the phone back on, [b]make sure the battery is fully charged and navigate to Settings > About device > Software updates and start the update process again. A factory reset is a last resort option and should only be used if the phone is completely unresponsive. This method will erase all user data and return the device to a factory default 'first bought' state. 1. If your phone is on, turn it off. 2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on. You'll see the word "Start" with an arrow around it. 3. Press the Volume Down button twice to highlight "Recovery mode". 4. Press the Power button to restart into Recovery mode. You'll see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark and the words "No command." 5. While holding down the Power button, press and release the Volume Up button once. 6. Press the Volume Down button twice to highlight "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it. 7. Press the Volume Down button seven times to highlight "Yes - erase all user data" and press the Power button to select it. When complete and the device reboots, make sure you have a fully charged battery before performing the update/upgrade. Source: https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/4596836?hl=en-CA
