my new samsung s3 has stopped receiving incoming text messages. it's very frustrating that I can't call in for help after 9 pm.

You can try going into your settings and check to see if the Mobile Data box has a check mark in the box. If not tap the box until check mark appears

Often, a restart or battery pull helps the device force a reconnect to a tower and gets you back on the road. Hope you have tried that?
I have tried everything.....nothing has worked 😞

When the customer service # is available again, give tech support a call and ask what's going on. The other thing it could be is a faulty SIM card... If tech can't figure it out then you could try replacing the SIM card and see if that fixes anything.
