I purchased (or put on my tab) a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime when I signed up with Koodo in March 2016.
For the most part it works well enough but I have had a couple of issues with it.
First regarding texts; I sometimes will send texts and they show as sent on my phone but later I discover the intended recipient did not get them. This has happened on at least 2 occasions, and the reverse has happened where someone has sent me texts and I have not received them.
Second, more recently, I play Pokemon Go. It is very frustrating that I can only start the game up on a WiFi network. I can continue to play the game via my data as I move away from a WiFi source but if the game crashes or I close it for whatever reason, I can't start it back up until I'm on a WiFi network again, which severely limits my ability to play the game.
For these reasons I'd like to get a better phone. [b]Am I able to trade in my existing phone along with the tab balance I have (-$95) to get a newer (and hopefully functional) phone or do I have to pay off my tab before I upgrade?
