Move a number out of an account and into a new one


The wife has an account with three phone numbers attached: hers, mine and our daughter. I would like to separate mine out into a new account.

For that you would need to contact Koodo by phone or Facebook. It is not something that can be done in self serve.

Just ask about Transfer of Ownership. You will need to provide ID for a credit check.

You also need to do this with your wife since she is the account owner

Transfer of responsibility is a one-time $10 fee.
If you don't have a tab left, and don't mind changing your plan, you could port out to a prepaid sim (Virgin sim's are $5), then grab a new phone porting back in to Koodo and take advantage of new activation promos.
