Motor G vs Samsung s3 or s4?

I am looking at getting a new phone. I currently have a Samsung ace2x, it's terrible so any phone will be an upgrade. I was looking at the moto g and both the samsung galaxy s3 and s4. I'd love some input on the best choice and whether the samsungs are worth the extra money.

Start with gsmarena and work your way through other reviews: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_moto_g_%282014%29-6647.php http://forums.androidcentral.com/ Keep in mind that most forum entries are populated by the ??% of folks who have problems and need answers, not necessarily those who are happy

Get the most phone, the newest phone, you can afford. The Moto G is okay but the S4 has expandable storage, a way better camera, and a larger screen. Some people here have experienced issues with the S3 once it's updated to KitKat. My two cents

Generally speaking, I don't believe that Samsung devices are worth the premium, except in the case of the Note series (due to the useful stylus), but that's only because there aren't any real competitors yet (sure, there are many other phablets out there, but without an integrated stylus). That being said, you're not comparing the same class of phone. The Moto G is a competitor to the Ace 2X that you (and I) hate, but it punches way above its weight in terms of performance. If not for the subpar camera, it'd be an easy recommendation. Mind you, I'm speaking based on my camera expectations. Chad raised another important possible limitation, which is that you're limited by the internal memory. This may or may not be of concern to you. The price of this phone is excellent, but only minimal sacrifices were made by Motorola. If you need better, I'll again echo Chad's recommendation for the S4. The S3 is too old. Not that the hardware isn't capable, but I wouldn't bet on too much software support for very long.
