Try to replace the battery, and make sure you dont have too many apps running in the background or download an app like cleanmaster that cleans apps running in the background

The Moto X Play has a non-removable battery. Replacing the battery would require that the phone be sent in for repair. Leaving Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS (location services) on for extended periods will drain the battery quicker. Go to: Settings > Battery to see which apps are consuming the most power. If there are apps consuming power that you no longer use, uninstall them. Motorola offers some tips on how to extend battery life for the Moto X Play. Although wifi, Bluetooth and gps will deplete the battery, the effect should not be anywhere near that severe. When I had the moto X play, I had all three on constantly and never got less than 8 hours from the phone, with several hours of screen on time. Along with Rikkster's suggestions, try turning down the brightness of your screen (or setting it to auto). Also check to see if there is an app (like email) that is unsuccessfully trying to sync. That can drain the battery a good deal faster.
