Moto x play sd card not working

I recently got a Kingston 8g class 10 micro SD card and my moto x play won't read it, it works on the computer and in my husband's phone a note 2 and I also tried his SD card in my phone and it also didn't work what can I do I'm running out of phone space

How long have you had the Moto X play? Is this the first time you've ever tried putting I'm an SD card?

I've had my phone since it was released in Ontario and it is the first time I've tried an SD card

Hi Sylvia,

Does the phone give any message about the SD card at all? If not, try reformatting your memory card on your computer and see if the phone recognizes it then.

I've tried that still doesn't showAlright, I would recommend you attempt a factory reset of the phone. If that does not solve it, go to a Koodo kiosk and send it out for repairs

I've tried that still doesn't showI bought a Moto X Play in September 2015 and ended up returning it later that week because it would not read any micro SD cards. The cards were all confirmed good.

The replacement phone worked fine.

I've tried that still doesn't showSame problem here.  Had a 128gb that worked then didn't.  Got a new 32gb that worked until I ejected to try the 128gb again.  Now the damn 32gb won't work.  The phone has had issues with cards since day one.  Should have returned it in the beginning instead of giving it a chance.  Miss my Nexus 5.  Any word on a fix would be great.
