I have a new LG G5 phone that has Android 7 installed on it. Google releases monthly a security update for the Android operating system in a patch form to ALL the developers suppliers and manufacturers.
On my phone it shows that I have the security patch up to November 1, 2016.
Wait a sec, it's April 11 2017, a whole 5 months out of date. I don't get that Apple can push a new update for thier IOS out to all the phones regardless of the carrier yet Koodo as to have a special version of Android written for them that they have to test (basically add in unwanted forced apps into the android os).
Why am I not getting the important Security Updates that Google is releasing. why is Koodo not requesting (demanding) that LG provide these security updates?
