MMS problems on HTC Incredible S


Hi all. My data has been working until recently. A friend has regularly started sending me MMS, and I always get this message that the download failed. I've tried updating my MMS settings according to what Koodo has up now, I've tried installing a different APN switch app, and I've tried disabling wifi/enabling data to download the message, and none of it is working. Before, my phone would automatically switch to data to download the message and then go back to wifi. I've got an older phone, 2.3.3, and I know her phone is much newer, so I didn't know if that could be an issue. Help appreciated! Thanks!

Check your APN type settings and make sure it's set to data and mms (could use other wording under APN type)

There have been many advancements since Android version 2.3.3, so it may be time to upgrade to a newer more reliable phone. https://shop.koodomobile.com/phones/models/index.html In the meantime, try entering these settings under APN Type: default, supl, mms, dun, fota.
