Lost phone during repair process

I recently purchase Samsung galaxy A70 and had an issue with battery terminal. I sent out for repair on Sept 3 and estimated time for repair was established to be Sept 12. Its been a week since the status on Koodo self serve is unchanged. I called call centre and was directed to contact the Koodo shop. The Koodo shop say it might be lost in transit. What are my options here. Thanks in advance

Sounds fair. Maybe the package will be found and properly delivered by then.
