[b]Problem : Phone is stuck on Booting screen. (Bootlopp of death), which is a hardware design issue that LG has confirmed.
Attempted solution : Go to local Koodo store for fix.
[b]Result: I was quoted 400 dollars + because my G4 has cracks on the camera lens so it renders me out of warranty. Which is ridiculous because I only wished the bootloop to be fixed as it factory hardware issue, where it is not caused by physical damage, especially not from a cracked camera lens.
Now my phone is a essentially brick, and not to mention I lost all my data. I am really disappointed in Koodo's response to this problem.

That's a terrible situation, but you should direct your displeasure toward LG. They are, after all, the warranty provider in this case. Koodo (and any other carrier) merely handles the shipping so that you don't have to pay for the shipping charges.View original
