Koodo charged me MORE and gave me LESS...classy

So I pay $45 a month for 500MB and 500 minutes. Looking at the plans the other day, I see that the $45 plan is now for 750MB and 700 minutes, yet I am not getting that nor would I sign up for that. I should only be paying $40 a month for the 500/500. That's a sick trick to be playing on your customers. Customers should be notified if the plans are going to change their prices. I wonder how much money Koodo rips off of customers simply for not telling them these things.

If you check the terms of service for koodo, or indeed for any other retailer on the planet, you will see a line that says: prices subject to change without notice. Koodo is not required to notify you when a new plan is introduced, and they are in no way ripping off customers by providing you with the plan you signed up for at the price you agreed to pay for it.

Go into self serve and switch to the new plan if you want there's nothing from stopping you and it's free to switch plans any time through self serve so keep an eye on the plans and when one comes along that's better simply select it.

Why us, as consumers, we tend to blame companies when is our responsibility to keep an eye on our services... Do you receive a call from your local gas station to let you know that prices dropped??? Don't think so, right?

You have to keep your eyes and ears open that's how I picked up my 6g/$60.00 and turned my wife's 1g$60.00 into 2g/$58.00. I think vigil customers do well by Koodo.

The amount of work that would be required in order to alert every customer, every time a better plan came out would be obscene. Plus then you would likely have some customer complain that Koodo is always sending out texts about plans. As other people have said, with how quickly wireless changes, it is far easier for customers to keep an eye out for changes.
