Kit Kat Upgrade has Changed Speach-to-Text Function

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and ever since the Kit Kat upgrade, my speach-to-text function does not capitalize the letter "i" when it is used by itself. So far, this is the only keyboard/talk & text bug that I've found. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, is there a fix for it? Thanks. John
