kies
I downloaded samsung kies to my computer and tried to connect my s2 and it said device not compatible I went to update my kies and it said i already have the latest update . Why can I not connect with my new phone
Thats really odd, have you tried connecting the phone through wifi, maybe its not compatible through a hardwire connection. Also have you tried searching for an older desktop version of kies. Maybe the newest edition only works on the newest phones. My samsung gs3 has no issues with connecting to kies either through wifi or through usb.
It will say that you have the latest software because the Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S2x hasn't rolled out yet so it's actually up to date it's running Android 4.0.x ICS.
