Keep losing service in Riverbend area edmonton. I'll have 5 bars and then a moment later i no service?


Keep losing service in Riverbend area edmonton. I'll have 5 bars and then a moment later I'll have no service and then 5 minutes later I'll have 5 bars again. Happens to people that have Koodo and Telus phones but apparently not my friend who has Rogers. Very frustrating because I get voicemails without the phone ringing and I have to resend text messages all the time. Is there a fix for this or is Koodo looking at fixing the coverage?

Try changing your network selection to Manual. Your phone will scan and present you with available networks....choose Telus or Koodo.

If you ever travel or see NO Service, you'll have to change this back to automatic.

You can also take the Sim out back in and restart. You say though that others with Koodo and Telus have the issue as well. Is this consistently people with Koodo and Telus have this issue in the same general area? It might be best to send off a private message to Koodo via Facebook to get a ticket opened so that the local tower can be checked if there's any issues.

you could stop going into Riverbend...I'm joking
go into your Network settings and where it says preferred network, uncheck the LTE option, and choose WCDMA/GSM
