Just changed my plan for the $40 plan where I get 2G


Hi I have an LG G3 Beat. I just changed my plan to a $40 in which I have 2G internet. And Im not being able to use the data.. What's wrong ? Is it not activated because Ive checked my plan and it says its changed.

Is data enabled on your phone and have you checked the APN settings, Ramdin?

I'm pretty sure that Koodo doesn't operate a 2G network anymore which could be why you have no data.

Koodo/Telus does not have a 2G network or do you mean 2gb data?. It can happen after a plan change for data to not work or sometimes other plan features. If data checks out enabled I'd just restart your phone. That should do it. You can toggle network on and off and reinsert your Sim if it doesn't work still although the restart should do it.

Hey Ramdin! 

Did you perhaps have a data block with your previous plan? If so, although your plan is changed, you would still need to remove the data block in order to use your data with your new 2GB plan!
