Import photos to my pc from my Samsung galaxy S2X

I can not figure out how to get pictures from my S2X camera to upload on my computer or how to move them to my micr sd so I can then upload them that way. Also wanted to know if there is a way to print photos directly from my phone at one of those photo kiosks? Do I plug the phone in to the kiosk or do it wirelessly? Any help with the above questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here's an app that will transfer pics or files to your SD easily https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.gelin.android.sendtosd For future you can go into your settings in your camera and select to have photos saved straight to your SD Card. To transfer to your PC there are many ways but you can just plug your phone into your PC and a list will pop up, selectt photos & you can simply drag and drop your photos from there. As far as a photo Centre not quite sure but I think the machine will take your SD Card or you can use your photo like a flash drive and plug it into the Machine/PC & do like I said above. You can also transfer your photos to Facebook and the machines usually connect to Facebook and you just choose your pic and print.

Depends on the photo centre. The last one I used (Boardwalk Walmart, Waterloo, ON) has an option to connect your phone to the kiosk and print from there. I am assuming that they mean connect via USB cable.

Couple of methods: 1. Connect your S2x via USB to your Mac or PC. 2. On your S2x, swipe from top to bottom to open the notification "windowshade". Look for and tap on USB connected, tap on Turn on USB storage. You'll see a message that mentions apps will not be available, press OK. Your device is now a mass storage device. 3. Not sure for Mac, in Windows, two folders should pop up labelled as removable disks, one is the S2x's internal storage while the other is your microSD card. The way to tell the two apart is to compare the sizes of the two, the S2x internal storage is typically 11.2 GB in size while your microSD card might report a total size of 4 GB, you can view this info easily by going to Computer in Windows and looking at the removable drives displayed there. 4. Look for the DCIM folder in either location as pictures will be stored in these folders. From here you can copy and paste pictures anywhere you like on your PC. Another way would be to download Samsung Kies for Mac or PC: http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP It's a free program that provides all the drivers needed to communicate with your computer and should make importing pictures and music as well as syncing events and contact info easier and all in one place.
Get dropbox and use the auto upload. then install dropbox on your pc. when you are connect to wifi drop box will auto upload your photos. Then you can get the photos on your pc and you have a backup in the cloud.

As long as you have the data space to do so.
I have Windows 8 and everytime I download my pictures it downloads 2 copies. Why and how can I stop this (because then I have to go through the file and erase a copy of each picture/video? Also, it downloads every single picture and video I have ever taken, each time I download, even if the picture has been erased or is already downloaded. So my first 500 pictures I ever took I downloaded to computer, erased off phone, but show up again when I download my next pictures!! Now I am downloading 3000 files+ each time I download my pictures.
You can try iPubsoft Android Desktop Manager to solve such problems, i just transferred my Samsung photos to my computer with it, it did me a big favour!
i have the same trouble, and i have tried dropbox, and no pictures.
Matt, I did find out the 2 copies are a hard and soft copy. One goes to the SD card and one goes to the hard drive. I have had people suggest to me to download all pictures and then erase all of them. Then to go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, All, Media Storage, Clear Data, then reboot. I haven't tried it yet, but next time I get my pictures off am going to.
