Hi Supriya,

That's too bad. Is there anything that could possibly be done to keep you on board?
If not, you will need to contact Koodo customer service and they will be able to process account cancellations. Please note that you will need to pay off any existing tab you have and whatever is remaining on your account.
Why should I pay for this bad quality is service? By the way my connection is a new one and not a month old. Do you think I still need to pay?

How long have you been with Koodo?

You still have to pay for the time you had the service (pro-rated of course).  Your phone can be returned if within 15 days and there is no damage.

Anything longer than 15 days and you have to pay for the phone.

What bad quality of service are you referring to? Cell signal, phone reps, kiosk reps? As for the payment: If you got a new phone: If you are under 15 days, you can return the phone for a refund as long as it does not show signs of damages. If you received a.gift: If you received a.gift (usually.gift cards), you will have to either return it or refund the value of the.gift to Koodo. If it has been more than 15 days: You have to pay the entire price of the phone. For the rate plan costs: It all depends on usage and amount of days. If it's less then 15 days and you did not go over certain amounts, then no. But if you did then you you will need Edit: Here is an expert from the return policy for the rate plan: If your usage stays within the limits below, we’ll waive your first bill. If your usage exceeds any one of these limits, you can still return or exchange your phone but you’ll be responsible for your bill. Details on reasonable usage: 30 minutes of talk time (local and/or long distance) 50 text messages (incoming and outgoing) 50 MB data

You shouldn't have any issue getting reception in Brampton.

Brampton reception should be fine, but you're using an international device. Looks like there's multiple model #s that support different frequencies. You're looking for at least 850/1900 HSPA 3G service (1700/2100 for LTE but this only affects data speed and not voice calls), but the Honor 5X is all over the place, according to this: http://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/df17379f This isn't really something Koodo can troubleshoot since it's not an officially sold product. Since you probably went SIM only for this plan, you can easily cancel it if you're within 15 days, you'll just have to pay out a prorated amount for the days you used it.
i think i read i could give the connection if it is within one month and that also for free. You can see my usage, i hardly managed to use any data call times.

We don't have access to your account, you will need to call Koodo if you want to cancel your service.

You are going to have the same problem with other providers in Canada. The real problem is the phone.

Is there anything in particular that we can assist you with? Please post a new thread with your issues(s) and we'll be happy to look into it for you.

Well I wonder if there's any way of getting better service here in the country?cause there are like 3 cities right close here! And I don't see any reason why they can't increase service, or is that just Koodo for yuh?!

I believe Koodo uses Sasktel's towers so you shouldnt notice any difference while in Saskatchewan.
Yeah that's what they told me when I went with Koodo, so I wasn't to scared to switch, but I think they're Sasktel towers, and I think they allow better signal to be sent to their customers phone's. cause I can hardly get service in my room anymore with Koodo! I think you guys need to set another tower up here in the country, or else throw better service from your already existing towers!agree?
I tried getting better service reception, nothing works!
