I've never understood how it takes this company over an hour


I've never understood how it takes this company over an hour every single time I've called to answer me, that is beyond ridiculous! Poor Service! And why disconnect my phone and tell me my bill is $83? Seriously?! They're ALWAYS "Busier than usual" too, get your act together it's been like this for 4+ years now.

It depends on when you call Mengalya, but typically wait times are longer during peak shopping season.

Even if you think your question is very specific, chances are other customers have gone through a similar situation, and have found their answer through this forum. For example, if service is suspended for non-payment, we need to receive payment in full for the outstanding balance, plus $35 for a reconnection fee, before the account can be reactivated.

Usually if you call in the mornings, the waiting time will be less then 30 minutes.
Wouldn't paying your bill prevent all the hassles?

Sure but at the end of the day you don't know the person's circumstances. And it should still be made easy to reconnect so they pay Koodo 35 dollars and continue to pay for services. Once upon a time I had services disconnected with Telus. I didn't go blame others but I certainly assumed I should be able to get service reconnected readily if I were to pay what's owed. Carrier gets their money. Customer gets their services back. Everyone's (relatively)happy and Koodo is a little richer for it.
