I don't understand automatic top-ups

I have a $15 base plan. I'm registered for automatic top ups of $15. However, each month I am charged twice. The first time I am charged $16.95 and the second time I am charged $11.30. I don't understand, how do automatic top ups work? My account says "Current Balance: $13.00 Amount Due: $2.00". Please help. I am paying way more than $15 each month. Thank you

Did you buy a $10 Booster?

$15 base plan + tax(13%)= $16.95
$10 booster = tax ($13%)= $11.30

Log into self serve and see your transaction history.
You should see 10% savings on your monthly base plan too.

Hey there, Help! Did Mayumi's answer clarify things? Do you recall buying a booster? Keep us posted!
I did buy a $10 booster in March. However, $11.30 has been charged since at least December. I understood that a booster does not renew itself.

Are you saying $11.30 has been charged EACH MONTH on top of the automatic top up? Can you post a screenshot of your transaction history? For example mine looks like this (I auto top up with $10 each month) - I'm thinking it might be something like that?

As you said boosters don't auto renew so I'm puzzled really 🙂

Is the booster good when traveling

Hi Gloria,

All boosters are Canada-wide so they can be used for nationwide minutes or data!

If you mean outside of Canada, prepaid lines cannot be used outside of the country.Otherwise as Mathieu said.
