I'd like to switch to the $45 plan that is advertised until May 31st using self-serve.


I'd like to switch to the $45 plan that is advertised until May 31st using self-serve but it does not show up when I try to change my account. The only plans that do show up are the old ones that were advertised previously. I also do not want to be charged for something that the company says that I can do myself.  

I live in BC by the way.

Hi Jason, In this situation you are unable to do it yourself. Therefor, you will not be charged for calling *611 from your mobile phone to get your plan changed. Unfortunately, calling for the plan change is the only way to get the new plans. Note: You will have to pay off your tab balance (if any) to be able to get the new plans.
Why do I have to pay off my balance to switch plans? I've never had to do this before when switching.

Tabs changed on April 19th and in order to get on one of hese plans you cannot be on the old style tab.

Ah, so you have to pay the old tab off and switch to the new tab? Do you have to pay to do this in store or can you do it on self-serve as well?

You need to call-in at *611 from your Koodo phone in order to be changed to one of the new plans. Your tab will be billed to you on your next bill and you'll be on the new tab system if you decide to 'upgrade'.
