Hello Anita.

Can you explain more clearly what you're looking forward to do?
I would like to talk into the microphone as i am tired of spelling the messages ...i have a Samsung Galaxy S4...I had it before but cannot find it now

Go to Settings.

Tap My device tab.

Scroll down to find Language and input, then tap it.

Check the box in the left side of Google voice typing to enable this option. Enable this option will make the Mic button available on your Samsung keyboard and vice versa.

Now, open an app that requires you to use keyboard, such as Messaging app.

On the keyboard, long tap the key on the left side of the Space bar. You should see the Microphone icon displayed in the pop up menu as one of the available options.
ok i done all the first 3 steps as stated. but this is where I get into problems as your message "Check the box in the left side of Google voice typing to enable this option. Enable this option will make the Mic button available on your Samsung keyboard and vice versa"...this doesn't happen as my phone doesn't give me these options as it only says to under SPEECH: voice Input or text to speech options and when i click on these two options such as Voice Input it tells me choose either "Enhanced Google Services or " Basic Google recognition" ...i have tried both and still no microphone. Also under Speech you can also click "Text -to- options"..i clicked on this and it gives me the option to click either Samsung text -to-speech engine and still i cannot get the microphone to appear in texting help...
I just figured this out as I had to go into apps and download the app...thank you
