I am looking for firmware for SGH-989D. I accidently flashed the root with a wrong firmware.

Nope Edit: the wrong firmware is flashed. The most it will do is reinstall the sane wrong firmware, assuming it even booted
hey Myke, how would i do that.. Kies is not connecting to the device. I have this error message Firmware upgrade enountered an issue

chad, I flashed wrong ROM.. what do i do..I dont have the default firmware with me
Chad, The hotfile is discontinued and hence the link to download doesnt exist. If someone has saved this firmware, that would help.

I just saw it. Goto samsmobile and try to get it manually meaning you enter the details
Chad, you are right, the link exist on samsmobile..however we cannot down load because.. Hotfile has been shudown.

Do you have a custom recovery installed. Best i can tell you is grab cyanogenmod 10 and flash through recovery until you can get back to where the file you need is stored (which in the future should be the cloud) If youre running CWM you can mount the sd and activate usb storage mode. Then you can dump the cm zip on the sd to install it.
Guys, I did it... with the help of -team win recovery project tar.file "How to fix this problem, that screen "firmware encounters an issue" that is download mode, go to that screen, find team win recovery project tar.file and use Odin to flash the recovery, after that u should be ablt to boot to recovery, flash the ROM of ur choice so u have one to boot into, from there ur device will be fine, Thanks all for your help.
