i am being charged for long distance when i have unlimited minutes why?


all I did was change my plan to a lower cost, same options and now I get a charge of 9$ for calls that are not only in Canada but local..i want the charges reversed or I will be leaving koodo behind for good..i have unlimited minutes in canada

OK. So, both $75 plan and $65 plan includes unlimited number.

Can you check page 3 of your E-bill in PDF? 
Does it say charge for minutes overage or long distance...?
Or maybe something else?

Can you take screenshot, so we can see it? (without personal info)

If you're calling outside of Canada you will get charged long distance fees. That may explain the charges...

Do you happen to live close to or have been close to the us border? Your phone may have accidentally switched to a us cell tower and you may have gotten charged for it.
I only call in canada and no i wasnt near the US

Well here we go again..another month same problem. Its taking me everything not to use a large amount of profanity. Why the hell is this company charging me long dstance when i clearly have unlimited canada LD

Your April invoice is not out yet. But I can see what the issue may be. You signed up for an unlimited min plan. The email you received on March 16th confirmed that. It does look like this is not rated for nationwide but just local calls. 


There seems to be a discrepancy between that and what you posted here that you see under your rate plan details online. I'll have someone look into that.

The picture you posted 4weeks ago is showing that your billing cycle is 25th of the month to 24th of the next month.
It means your next bill from Apr 25 to Mar 24 is not ready yet.
Check the date of your bill.
