How to activate my new phone when my old phone is dead?

My old phone is dead, so I CANNOT accept a callback. I also CANNOT receive a text to verify.
I can't get a hold of a real person by calling the customer service line while using a friends phone.
I cannot get to a service kiosk.

How can I activate my new SIM card? This experience is extremely frustrating, and makes me want to switch to another company.

hi,
I assumed you had a new inactivated SIM already. You could switch SIM in your selfserve https://www.koodomobile.com/help/koodo-sim-support

Another option if you don't have any phone line is to send message to their facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Koodo)

Can you switch the SIM from the old dead phone to the new one?

You can specify a friend's number as the call back number, if you wish. (Might cost a beer or two)

@erica11111 the option to do it yourself as @Dinh noted requires you to be able to receive an SMS on your old SIM. I know you indicated that your old phone being deceased prevents you from doing so, but as @David AKU suggested, do you still have physical access to the old SIM card? Could you temporarily place it in your new phone long enough to receive the code? Or for that matter, if the SIM card still works (despite your old phone being dead), you could just keep using the old SIM in the new phone, and store the new SIM card you were shipped with the phone away for future use.

The link has an option if your old/current sim is not working
If your SIM card is NOT in working order you can:
Have the verification code sent to another user on your account. If you don’t have other subscribers on your account and no working SIM then go to koodo.com/chat and enter “SIM Change”.
