How do you take a screenshot with samsung galaxy s3

Press and hold the power and home buttons simultaneously for a second, you'll hear a shutter sound like your camera taking a picture then release both buttons. Look in the settings you might be able to do a palm swipe across the screen also if enabled, I know my Note 2 does it that way too & with the S-Pen but I digress 😉

Yup, palm swipe capture is/was available on the S III from the day it launched. I love it on mine, it's easier than holding some weird combination of buttons on my phone.

I turn it off on my Note 2 because I was getting pissed off from every time I'd wipe dust off my phone it would take a screen shot errrrr. I like that I can turn it off on my Note 2 because you couldn't on my original Galaxy Note & it really got to me, was a great excuse to get the Note 2 though lol
