How do I save my text messages to my Mac and print them off?

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 today, and I want to learn how I can save my text messages to my Macbook Pro, so I can print them off any time. I'm also having troubles with file transfer. Somehow, Android File Transfer is not working on my computer and keeps asking me to reconnect or restart my system and I did that for both, but it keeps repeating the same thing over and over again.

Download Samsung Kies. You don't have to use the program, but it will install all the device drivers needed so that the S3 communicates with your Mac. Restart or reboot Mac after installing Kies. http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP Try SMS Backup & Restore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore&hl=en For printing saved SMS messages, try Cloud Print. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pauloslf.cloudprint&hl=en
I've already tried that. It hasn't worked. I've even updated my phone twice and my Mac is set to auto update. It's also very new as I bought it only two weeks ago.

Go into Settings > Developer options and turn on USB debugging, short video on how to do this, below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZFsvPwr4S4

Thanks. I finally did manage to connect my phone to my computer 🙂 I'll try that when I need to actually save texts.
