Question

How do I get a new phone number for my new second phone on my account?


I have an account with 1 phone on it. I purchased a second phone and requested a new phone number when I ordered the phone online. Today after receiving the new phone I went online, found the Koodo screen to add a new phone line but, I only have the option to change the current phone's number. How do I get my second line activated? Thank you.

Yes. I just received my new phone from Koodo. I selected the rate plan and added a line when I purchased the phone.

You should have recieved an email with your phone number and details about this. Check your email and spam folder to see if anything is there. It could be possible that the phone was shipped faster than it was activated so if you dont see anything in your email you will have to get in contact with Koodo.

Thank you. I looked in my spam folder and Koodo is not there. I will call them. I appreciate your assistance.

That phone is in use by another family member hence, the need for a phone for me.

I called the 1-844 #. My phone has been activated.

Alright well in the future if you ever find yourself unable to use a regular phone line, you could place the call using google voice or skype or other VoIP apps as well. Glad it got worked out.

When you ordered the second phone, did you put add a line? I can't seem to find to request a new phone number.

Yes, I requested a new line. This is either the 3rd or 4th time I have done this procedure on 3 or 4 different occasions with Koodo.
