How come I cant have more than 3 phones on my account

I currently have three phones on my account and was going to add a 4th one but when I try to add it it says that I have to pay off my tab first. When I first signed on with Koodo I was told that I could have up to 5 phones. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Carrie.

Maybe the system is seing it as and upgrade of your phone. That would explain why it wants you to pay the tab first! Make sure to set it up as a new user.

If it's asking you to pay off your tab, then you are trying to upgrade your phone or plan. I believe that you can add another line under your account is to go to a Koodo store. If you use online to purchase phone or plan, the system Will recognize it as upgrade.
Ok so I tried setting it up as a new user and everything went fine. Now its telling me that my credit card is not a canadian credit card when it is the same one I have used for the other three phones.

You might have to call in to register your non Canadian credit card since you opened it as a new user. (Even if they have your credit card info on your current account, they might need check it again) And this new account is not under your current account, you will receive separate bill for it. Also, there is no family calling benefits between this new line and your current 3 lines.

I understand that there is no family calling but it wont let me add anew number to this account without starting over.

IIRC, there is a limit of three lines until you've been with Koodo at least three months.
