Hi! Could use some help with some cellphone frequencies! I have an Eastern Phone

I need to find a carrier that will have the correct frequency. I have a new Andriod Lenovo fliip phone, here http://www.amazon.ca/Lenovo-MTK6582M-Google-Android-Screen/dp/B00SCM9GV2

I need to know which carriers it will work on. Thanks! Shawn

This device is not compatible with any 3G or higher carrier in Canada.

No problem Todd, for future reference koodo uses 3G HSDPA 850/ 1900 MHZ & LTE B4 (1700/2100mhz)

I'm not so sure about those 3G numbers. 2G is a dead issue in Canada except for some older Rogers equipment. You can always drop by a boutique and check it out.

It's Verizon like tech if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the quick replies guys! I have been to the mall today. I checked out kodoo. No go. Fido, it was trying to work on 2g but it wasnt. And rodgers couldn't figure it out. Any other ideas? Thanks again, shawn!

Then nope, it should work on 2g as long as the network type is set to wcdma/gsm auto with either Fido or Rogers

Dual SIM means that it will only look for data on the "main" SIM, second SIM is severely restricted. Designed for frequent travellers with a home base or business people who want to handle a second line from the family and other personal calls.

Bob, that second sim limitation may not be true anymore. My blue hd is dual sim and both slots are identical

For 2g it's your only choice in Canada.
