I have a samsung galaxy s3 with bell aliant. i recently purchased a moto g thats with koodo. my sim card fits perfectly but it says i need to enter a password?

If you are putting a Bell sim into a Koodo Sim then it is asking for the carrier unlock code so that it can work with a carrier that is not Koodo.
