Has anyone encountered charging problems with the Galaxy S2x?

So my galaxy S2x stopped charging the other day, If I put a fresh battery in, it works, and all of the batteries I've tried seem to charge fine on other phones. Has anyone encountered issues with the charging port? If so, is there a solution other than to send it in? 4-6weeks without a phone doesn't work for me. Thanks!

Are u using the charger provided with the phone? Some inferior chargers don't have the juice to make it happen. I broke my port and had to buy external battery chargers. Worked out well for me but had to carry extra charged batteries in my pocket.

I'm using the provided charger, but this might be what has happened to my phone as well. Where can i get an external charger?

Minne takes anywhere from2-18 hours depending on how the phone feels that day. Perfectly normal according to Koodo store.

Here is a link to an entire discussion on it http://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/anyone_have_any_experience_with_external_battery_chargers Just a note however that if the charging port is damaged it's usually considered physical damage and not covered under the warranty. Easy way to check is to wiggle the cord and see if it starts to charge.

Try using dark background wallpaper to save power. Use power savings mode. Settings/power saving mode. Buy an extra battery, carry it in your pocket in case. use task/memory management and task killer to kill processes to save memory

Mat, his phone will not charge the battery anymore, he's not saying the battery doesn't last.
