galaxy s4 price

Hi. I am confused about something here. So if I buy galaxy s4 without tab, it will be $360. However s4 in prepaid phone section is $510... So...can I buy the phone at $360 and use it for prepaid service? Thank you in advance 🙂

If you're already a monthly service customer or you're Activating a new line then the S4 is 360$. If you're buying the phone to be used with prepaid and not a current monthly customer or Activating a new line then the phone is indeed 510$

So my understanding for how this works (and I could be wrong) is that if you buying an S4 outright your price will be $360 given you are an active postpaid customer. Likewise if you have a prepaid pay as you go plan or no active Koodo account you will pay the $510.

Now here's the kicker, some retailers will sell you the phone for 360$. You just need to find the one that will. The Kiosk will not. But some of Koodos partners will.
Then let's say I pay 360$ outright and start with monthly plan. Since I have no obligation to continue the monthly plan (since koodo does not do yearly contract), can I change into prepaid after let's say 1 or 2 months? I am not a koodo user right now and just looking into things and am very confused

But you'll have to pay for at least a month of service.

To be honest, I don't recommend buying the S4. It's already a 2 year old device and won't be getting too many software updates (if any at all). You might have some problems with it. It's still a decent phone but there are better options in its price range. I recommend the Moto X Play instead and Chad will back me up on this one. It's a similar price but it just came out a month or so ago, has smoother software, better camera, newer/faster processor, and WAY better battery life. Plus it still has a microSD slot.

Yup I have a Moto x play and love it. It's a great performer at a reasonable price.
