Galaxy S2X Sim Card

Hey, I recently got my Galaxy S2 X back from LCD replacement and ever since I put my old sim card back in it, and it doesn't seem to be reading it? Also I tried putting the same sim card back into my Galaxy Ace which I use as a back up, and it seems to be working fine. Help please?

What's the phone say when you are using that SIM Card?

Check to make sure the phones sim pins on your S2 aren't damaged. Did they return your phone or give you a referb. phone? You could also pass by a koodo kiosk and ask for a new sim.

I would rather try to insert the SIM card again and restart the phone. It should work if the SIM connectors are not damaged.
It says: No SIM In the notification bar all the time. They returned the phone I bought just over a month ago. I could go to a kiosk later today since theres one nearby my house to check the sim connectors. Thanks guys

Ya just ask them if you could try one of their SIM Cards to see if it's an issue with the card or the phone its self.

Good luck. I haven't been able to get my broken SIM contact replaced under warranty. I would argue that whoever repaired your screen caused the damage and hold them liable for repair. I don't know about the S2X internal design, but if your SIM reader is integrated into the logic board, it will be a very expensive repair (not worth it if not covered under warranty).

The original poster stated that when he inserts a sim card the phone reads 'no sim'. This clearly indicates that the phone is not reading the sim card and the problem has nothing whatsoever to do with network unlock codes. The thread is also over 4 months old and the issue is long since resolved.
