Error Messages - Samsung Galaxy S3

I had to have my Samsung Galaxy S3 fixed. It wasn't charging properly. Since getting it fixed (at an independent company who replaced the port) it has acted weird. I can't do a lot of transactions..mostly some kind of form. Any suggestions besides doing a reset. It's mostly internet related. I took it back to the guy who fixed it. Basically, he switched my browser from Explorer to Chrome. I'm still having problems. If I have to reset and do backup , can I back up online somewhere ? I'm also trying to remember what else to write down. I'm thinking of upgrading my phone some time but the tab on Koodo has really gone up !

Watch for sales. There are sometimes good deals on phones which would compensate for the TAB charges. I'll guess there may be some 'Sweetheart' sales around Valentine's Day.

I think I'd like to stick with a Samsung. It's the first Smartphone I've had.Not interested in changing from an android.Although I don't know a lot about other phones. I like the size of my Galaxy S3 in my hands but hate the size of the keyboard. Too small for my big fingers !

There are alot of great manufacturers for Android phones

Samsung phones are great but you'll pay a little more for that Samsung branding.

The keyboard on Android is changeable. Check out swiftkey on the play store. The key size is adjustable. https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...

Check on your apps list and you should see an app called browser or Internet. Use that if you don't like chrome.

If you're signed into your Google account, chances are your contacts, photos, and other information may already be backed up online

Check settings...accounts..Google...and see what's setup to sync. Adjust as necessary and sync before you reset.

Then once you login to your phone again with your Google account, your info will be there.
