Does koodo need my imei number from phone for LTE to work correctly

Hello Garth.

No they do not. LTE should work fine without that information. Isn't it the case?
Not sure did update to 6.0.1 on my note 5 and lte does not work anymore ,tried everything and every suggestion from samsung and koodo ,and general public ,only left to do is root phone to fix problem

There are two methods to try and recover a 'failed' update. One is to head over to SamMobile and download the latest firmware image specific to the model number of your Note 5 and flash it using Odin, no root required. The other is to use Samsung's Smart Switch 'Emergency software recovery and initialization' tool. Again, no root required. Hey Garth, from which company is your Note5 from? Did you update the phone via an "Over The Air" update that was pushed, or did you update some other way?
