There's some full blown editors like Audio Evolution Mobile that are paid apps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.aemobile&hl=en There's a pile of free ones that do a number of things, like record, edit, share, and make ringtones, but how many of these include level editing, I'm not sure. You'd have to test them out. Doing a simple search on Google Play for "Audio Editing" will bring up a large lis tot browse through. I suggest reading comments on different apps to try and find the one that best suits you, and try out a few free ones unless you find a paid app that you know will do what you want. Here's a link to a Google Play search for audio editing apps if you want to start looking immediately. 🙂 https://play.google.com/store/search?q=audio+editing+apps&c=apps

Thanks for the Audio Evolution suggestion, must check that out! I'm using J4T (see my comment below) but this one seems very good too 🙂

Very cool, thanks for weighing in. I haven't used AEM, so it's always nice to have some insight from someone that is using something similar. AEM is just what seemed to stand out when I first searched, and I've gained a fair bit if experience searching for programs to meet my needs. 🙂 It's amazing what is out there for Android and what you can do with it.

Are you trying to make music or just dictate to your device?

If you want it to record music, I bought this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jaytronix.multitracker It's MAGIC, almost as good as a real Tascam (if that means anything to you). If you are a musician trying to record something "on the road", I'd say this is the best. You can edit volumes, levels, everything. This is what it looks like:

One app is HI-Q mp3 recorder. it is very high quilty.
