Do I take my case off to use the wireless charger.

GALAXY s7 has a case etc. Do I need to remove it before I can wireless charge?

You might, depends on the case. Your best bet is to try it and see.

Ah but you didn't say that 🙂

Bradley, a heating issue would be a completely seperate issue than whether or not it can charge within a case. As Chad indicated, try charging with the case and if it works then it works.

If your phone is overheating, then there would be a seperate issue and steps to follow seperately to resolve that issue.

Are you using the phone while it's charging? If so that can definitely make it heat up, even when not using it can warm up as its fast charging and many of my devices get warm when fast charging as its drawing alot of current and the S7 wireless charger is a fast wireless charger. If it's just getting warm then thats probably nothing to worry about but if it's hot to the point of it being very uncomfortable to hold then that could be an issue.

We can let you know more when we test out S7 Edges early next week.

Using the wireless fast charger to charge my S7 Edge right now and it's getting warm probably because it's wireless fast charging like I said above. It's not hot just warm, nothing to be worried about and I would expect it to be perfectly normal.
