Defective replacement phone, any way to accelerate replacement process?

My LG G3 was glitching and it got replaced yesterday by a brand new phone. However as soon as I turned my new phone on another problem appeared and the screen started flashing. So we had to send that one too into reparation. I mean do they not check the phones before sending them out? I have been a client of Koodo since 2011 with three lines on my account. I am disappointed.

I'm going on a flight on the 24 of this month and will be using the phone for about 2 months there. My situation is so frustrating, I was hoping to have a working phone but Koodo gave me another defective one... I need the second replacement by the 24th, what can I do?

Thanks.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to speed up the replacement process however if you're down to the wire, consider buying an unlocked cheaper device via Kijiji or even grabbing a prepaid device at walmart. You can just put your sim into the new device and carry on until your replacement arrives. This way at least, you'd have a backup.
There is no way of speeding the process up. I do suggest that you make claims before 2pm. That will get you the phone the next day. If you wait longer then that, people end up with a replacement device two days from the claim date.

When it comes to devices needing replacement. If you buy it from a store, or if you are shipped the device. Either way nothing is guaranteed to function 100% each and every time. As you are always dealing with mini hand held computers. The replacement devices nine times out of ten will function better then a boxed phone. Sounds like you where that unlucky odd one and I am sorry that happened to you.

If its something that is important, I would go to your local Koodo. Get them to give you the 1800 number to the Koodo Protection Plan company (eSecureTel.) I am confidant they will send it to where ever you need, but I would look into it before your departure of a trip. If its something they may not do. I would look into a world phone such as an iPhone. Apple care is effective at any apple store, apple stores are found all over the world. Just an other option I would look into before any other travel plans.

How can I make claims? I'm not sure that I understand on what I should make the claim

I think Krysta is under the impression you are enrolled in Koodo's extended warranty program. She mentions Koodo Protection Plan and eSecuritel in her last paragraph. Usually customers make some sort of reference to the extended warranty program. I don't see this mentioned anywhere in your post. My thinking is that you're simply going through the manufacturers warranty replacement process through Koodo.
