it's happened to me onBell (150MB Plan) call *611 on your phone or 1866-99-KOODO from your home phone or someone else's phone and explain what happened....it should be a quick fix

Are you just starting with Koodo? If that is the case it sounds like you had a partial amount of data for the month when you signed up which happens to everyone when they sign up, but if you go over that allotment of data then you will be charged extra for it.

Also with what Allan said, the other thing to do is check with customer service and have them go over your current bill so they can explain what happened in this instance.

If someone signs up for service and their billing cycle ends 10 days after signing up, and they have a set amount of data and minutes, the data doesn't get prorated for those 10 days?

Yep Daniel, that's correct. Data does not get prorated unlike minutes.

As far as I know, there was/is no promotion for free data so I'm going to say all the data you see you used, you used. I'd recommend calling Koodo at *611 and asking them to make sure.

It;s not a promo. I'm pretty sure they've been doing this forever. I suppose to help people.

If you just started with koodo I thin they do give a bit of a grace period. And I think it is about 10 days. So, you should be ok.
