Data isn't working with new rate plan for my Galaxy S4

I've just changed to a new rate plan ($40 plus 1gb Shock-Free data), but the data is not working. I've removed SIM card and battery, verified the APN settings, mobile data box is checked, Network operators says I'm registered. Don't know what else to check! I didn't have data with my previous rate plan.

Is your wifi on, try turning it off as sometimes that can interfere. As well do you have a data block on your account? This can be found under the add-ons section in self serve.
Thanks for the prompt response, Allan. Yeah, I should have checked my add-ons for a data block. That's exactly what the problem was. Duh.
