Coverage Area issue


does anyone else have huge gaps in service areas? My phone is searching for service so often that the battery doesn't last more than a few hours. So disappointing! My phone keeps showing the triangle warning and the circle with the cross through it. grrrr!

Settings...wireless and networks...more..mobile network...network selection..Set to manual..choose koodo

Out of curiosity, where are you located? Koodo provides as wide a coverage map as possible but some places just don't have towers. Also, are you noticing that the issue is only happening indoors? No provider can guarantee indoor coverage because there are too many factors that could interfere with your connection.
Chad Burr...was set there already. Curtules I'm in Owen Sound, ON. I lose service in several places in my city and most of the surrounding areas too. No, it happens in the car, outside, and inside buildings.

According to the coverage map Owen Sound has very solid coverage. Do you know anyone else who's using a Koodo or Telus phone with the same issue?

Chad, no, i have switched it manually to koodo, but it always wants to go back to auto...still have the same problem when i choose koodo. Curtules, yes, most people in this area have problems. I can't even recommend koodo to anyone because of it. They are getting their butts kicked by the competing towers. Ironically, a telus salesman just cold-called my work and suggested that i go to koodo for a new sim card and a network re-set. Whatever that is.

If it's effecting multiple users then there's probably a network issue. If you call Koodo's Tech Support at 1-866-995-6636 and choose option 6 they can report your issue to Telus/Koodo's Engineers. Sucks that there's a problem in your area, but letting Koodo know is the fastest way to get it solved.

love calling in for help and getting off the phone more stressed and pissed off than when you started because you can't hear or understand the operator...%$^&%*
