Question

Cannot connect to network


I bought a Bluboo S1 but I cannot get it to find or connect to a network. The SIM is fine as I checked it in a different phone. I have upgraded the OS, I have taken the SIM out and back in numerous times, I have reset the phone to stock but it isn't showing any bars.

From what I can tell, this phone doesn't have the required frequencies to work with Koodo.

You may have to manually add the APN.

Koodo uses 3G: 850, 1900 LTE: Band 4(1700/2100) LTE-a: Band 7(2600), and a few others The Blueboo S1 uses: 3G: 900, 2100 4G: LTE 800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 The only frequency youll pick up is 2600 which if youre not in a big city or have any close towers with the 2600 frequency you won't receive a connection.
