Can't receive verification text to purchase phone online

My screen is smashed on my old phone and I'm trying to purchase a new one online. However, in order to purchase a new phone, Koodo wants to send me a text to verify my identity. I can't access the text because my lcd screen is completely inoperable. Is there a way to remedy this?

Well, you might need another phone temporarily to receive the text. The verification text was to avoid some fraud.

You could also visit a Koodo kiosk or a retail (bestbuy, walmart, etc..) but then you might have to pay the $35 connection fee. Some retail store however, have some extra giftcard to compensate for that connection fee.

Ask to borrow a friend or family members phone and use your sim in their phone to receive the text.
