Can't Play Videos

Sometimes, when trying to download a video/podcast, either from an e-mail or from a website/youTube, after the loading icon runs for a while, a message pops up saying "sorry, this video can't be played", with no explanation or options. What is going on here?

Sometimes some videos need a special file "codec" in order to be decoded to play. Since that's not the case with YouTube, it could be that the signal is getting lost / dropped while you're downloading. Since you're running android I recommend ditching the default player and grabbing MX player from the Play Market. Even if the codec thing isn't the answer MX player still might be a better experience all around for you.
