Can't connect phone to Koodo

A few days ago I took my phone to Bell to test that it would work with their network and it did. So I went to koodo to buy the pre-paid package because I was told they should work because they use the same network. After the Web issues were fixed, I finally activated my sim card and transferred the number, and I can log in to my koodo account, but when I try to connect my phone to the Koodo WCDMA or LTE service it just says "Your SIM will not allow you to connect to this network". What is going on? Its been 3 hours since my activation, shouldn't it be working by now? This is the same issue I had on Wind which is why I switched to koodo so it was on a compatible network. I have two phones, and both are unlocked and both worked with Bell when tested at the Bell Store. AT&T HTC One X+ 64GB T-Mobile LG G2 32GB (D801BK)

I just switched my koodo card from my LG G2 to my HTC One X+ and it is working fine on my HTC, I'll try switching it back to my LG G2. I hope it works because my LG G2 is the new one that I want to be using.
When I switched back to my LG G2 on boot up it said... "Service disabled"....then "searching"...then it detected "Koodo", then went to "No Service"... and I'm still getting the "Sim card does not allow you to connect to this network" error again.... Why? I tested this on Bell and it worked fine, why wouldn't koodo work on it?

How about your APN settings? Hope this link helps http://aide.koodomobile.com/Portals/0/Phones/PDFFiles/Android.pdf
Apn's are for internet data and mms texting, not for voice calling. It should just work.

Aye, so it works on your AT&T phone but not on the T-Mobile eh? I'm as puzzled as you are, especially since they both work with Bell... As you know Telus and Bell share the exact same network. Is it possible for you to visit a Koodo kiosk and test it with another SIM?
Yes. Very odd. I can. I didn't get to test on Telus because they told me they had no SIM cards to test it with. I'll try visiting a Kiosk at the mall as soon as I can.

Did you have any luck today Paul?
I went to Futursehop yesterday, tried Telus sim which also failed to work. Tried Bell again successfully. Tried Virgin mobile also worked ok. So had no choice except to use Bell or Virgin. So I activated a virgin mobile pre-paid. Now I have Virgin on my LG G2 and Koodo on my HTC One X+. I'll see what i decide to do in a month or two of service. So many choices all with advantages and disadvantages and price points.

That is so strange! First time I have ever heard that one. I was convinced the the networks are equal... But obviously there is a difference somewhere. Let us know what you decide in the end 🙂

See if it has been reported stolen

And you might as well check the Canadian one too

The t-mobile one only says it will not work on t-mobile, which i already knew. The Canadian one says it will only work with Canadian IMEI's. I can probably call t-mobile to find out why its blocked.
